How to Add “Water Mark” for 
MS WORD DOCUMENT IN 
OFFICE 2007
Click “Page Layout”
Click Watermark
Click custom watermark
From printed watermark you can choose 
Picture water mark or Text watermark
Choose Picture Watermark for 
Picture and Click “Select Picture” 
After selecting the Picture click 
Insert
Click Apply to see the effect
Now the document is watermarked 
with a Picture 
Picture watermark is not so clear or 
easy to visualize
If you go with Text Water Mark 
Type desired text, Choose Layout
Choose Color for Watermark
After Typing and choosing color click Apply
The document is now water marked 
with the desired text
