To train a turtle, you will need a turtle, a name for the turtle, a leash, and treats. You teach the turtle to sit by repeatedly telling it to sit and gently pushing its rear end down until it complies, then reward it with a treat. Repeat the sit command and treat until the turtle learns, then teach it additional tricks with treats as positive reinforcement.
