GridMap is designed to help site developers,
managers and investors analyse existing (or
projected) energy demand and model different
potential developments & strategies.
Once a site demand profile is established (or
simulated) you can model the addition of solar PV
systems, wind turbines, CHP, energy storage,
differing energy strategies, PPAs, demand side
response, load shifting, tariff changes and other
energy related opportunities. This is done
whilst factoring in any Grid limitations or critical load
issues.

Our Process Data Sharing
Before any study can be done we need some
information. The scope of data required will
depend on the nature and complexity of the study
to be undertaken.
Our analyst will work with you to verify what
information is needed and how it can be sourced.
If not available we may be able to help through
profiling existing templates, or by implementing
monitoring for a time.
Once received Argand will run a data integrity
analysis to ensure everything provided is suitable
and complete.

Running the Study
Once the necessary information has been attained
and the scope of the study has been agreed
Argand commence building the study model.
We then run all the permutations to be studied.
Presenting the Results
The results are delivered to you via our project
web interface, which provides complete access
to all the permutations run, and a full set of
charts for each one. Our analysts will be on-
hand to help you with any required
interpretation of the results.
Making Changes
Sometimes the results of the first study cause a
client to change the parameters to be assessed.
One or two simple changes can usually be
accommodated. If, however, you want to add more
technologies or change the scale range to be
studied we may need to charge for additional time.
Project Completion
Once completed, the project will remain
accessible in your GridMap interface for future
reference and requirements. If you progress to
buy a software licence for GridMap you will be
able to edit these initial studies directly yourself.

Please note that these prices are achievable if the required
information is supplied in a workable form. Meeting in person
to discuss a project, or for example fixing incomplete data sets
would understandably attract additional fees (charged @£80
per hour). However, some leeway is usually allowable, and help
is always provided, particularly to assist with your first study.
Argand endeavour to deliver these services at an
extremely affordable price. The more studies you do, the
more familiar we all become, and the cheaper it gets.

Pricing depends on the time involved to set
up and run / report on the studies required.

For sites with multiple issues such as import
or export constraints, complex or critical
demands, private micro-grids, off-grid
scenarios, multi-site power aggregation or
other non-standard BHM scenarios please
call us to discuss. They can be modelled, but
they are be a bit more involved.
Technologies currently available to model
include: existing demand, solar PV (existing &
proposed), wind, CHP, energy storage (all
forms). Others can be added as required. A
wide range of stackable revenues can be
modelled as appropriate.
Argand Solutions have a range of monitoring,
control and limiting systems available to
gather data, maximise system potential, and
to monitor performance post installation.
Outsource Your Energy Analytics
Towards the end of 2018 GridMAP will be
released as a software application.
If you are interested to use GridMAP as a
project development tool, sales tool, or to
control & develop the same project or
portfolio over time, it will work out much
cheaper and quicker to run your own studies.
Full training & ongoing support will be
available. Individual licences will vary in price
depending on how many capabilities are
required.

as education, military or medical facilities.
• Bespoke outputs. For example, creating a specific
PDF report ready for provision to the end client.
• Modelling bespoke scenarios such as solar PV +

  • 21. Our Process Data Sharing Before any study can be done we need some information. The scope of data required will depend on the nature and complexity of the study to be undertaken. Our analyst will work with you to verify what information is needed and how it can be sourced. If not available we may be able to help through profiling existing templates, or by implementing monitoring for a time. Once received Argand will run a data integrity analysis to ensure everything provided is suitable and complete.   • 22. Running the Study Once the necessary information has been attained and the scope of the study has been agreed Argand commence building the study model. We then run all the permutations to be studied. Presenting the Results The results are delivered to you via our project web interface, which provides complete access to all the permutations run, and a full set of charts for each one. Our analysts will be on- hand to help you with any required interpretation of the results.
  • 23. Making Changes Sometimes the results of the first study cause a client to change the parameters to be assessed. One or two simple changes can usually be accommodated. If, however, you want to add more technologies or change the scale range to be studied we may need to charge for additional time. Project Completion Once completed, the project will remain accessible in your GridMap interface for future reference and requirements. If you progress to buy a software licence for GridMap you will be able to edit these initial studies directly yourself.

Meeting in person to discuss a project, or for example fixing incomplete data sets would understandably attract additional fees (charged @£80 per hour). However, some leeway is usually allowable, and help is always provided, particularly to assist with your first study. Argand endeavour to deliver these services at an extremely affordable price. The more studies you do, the more familiar we all become, and the cheaper it gets.
  • 25. More Complex Studies Larger or more complex studies are available. Pricing depends on the time involved to set up and run / report on the studies required. Please call us to discuss. For sites with multiple issues such as import or export constraints, complex or critical demands, private micro-grids, off-grid scenarios, multi-site power aggregation or other non-standard BHM scenarios please call us to discuss. They can be modelled, but they are be a bit more involved. Technologies currently available to model include: existing demand, solar PV (existing & proposed), wind, CHP, energy storage (all forms). Others can be added as required. A wide range of stackable revenues can be modelled as appropriate. Argand Solutions have a range of monitoring, control and limiting systems available to gather data, maximise system potential, and to monitor performance post installation.   • 26. Towards the end of 2018 GridMAP will be released as a software application. If you are interested to use GridMAP as a project development tool, sales tool, or to control & develop the same project or portfolio over time, it will work out much cheaper and quicker to run your own studies.
