2. Materials All y ou need is a square piece of paper and your hands!:D

3. Introduction Want to test your skills? You too can succeed at making a crane. It's fairly simple and takes a short amount of time. The crane looks fantastic and you'll be the envy of your friends.

4. Beginning steps (To make future steps easier you can make both diagonal creases and half creases) First fold the paper diagonally. Lift the top flap up a little bit and tuck the right corner in so it matches up with the bottom corner. Do the same with the left side so it looks like 1 square on a tilt.

5. Afterward... Fold the left and right sides into the middle. Flip it over and do the same to the other side. Unfold them. Now lift the top layer and pull up. Then fold the side corners into the crease. This fold is called the Petal Fold. Do the Petal Fold to the other side, folding the flaps up afterward.

6. Next... Fold the side corners into the middle crease so the outer edge matches up with the center. Repeat this step on the other flaps. Now turn to the left or right side and bend the skinnier end up until it can't go anymore. Then fold.

7. Then... Bring out the point a little bit so its parallel to the edges. Do the same with the other flap. Bend the tip of one of them down. (that's the head)

8. FINALLY!! Bend down the wings (the pointy parts in the middle) and VOILA! You have a crane! :D
