How to grow wheatgrass at home
Wheatgrass can be grown at home to enjoy its nutritional benefits. The steps include: 1) Soaking wheat berry seeds in water for 8-12 hours; 2) Rinsing and draining the seeds every 8 hours for 2 days until roots emerge; 3) Planting the soaked seeds in a planting tray with moist soil and covering with an inverted tray; 4) Watering daily with a light misting until the grass pushes up the tray between days 3-5; 5) Moving the tray into sunlight and increasing water amounts; 6) Harvesting the wheatgrass above the soil when it reaches 8-12 inches tall.

How to grow wheatgrass at home
Wheatgrass can be grown at home to enjoy its nutritional benefits. The steps include: 1) Soaking wheat berry seeds in water for 8-12 hours; 2) Rinsing and draining the seeds every 8 hours for 2 days until roots emerge; 3) Planting the soaked seeds in a planting tray with moist soil and covering with an inverted tray; 4) Watering daily with a light misting until the grass pushes up the tray between days 3-5; 5) Moving the tray into sunlight and increasing water amounts; 6) Harvesting the wheatgrass above the soil when it reaches 8-12 inches tall.

Watermelon grows best in sandy loam soil with good drainage and a pH between 6.5-7.5. Seeds should be sown between November and December at a rate of about 3.5 kg per hectare and thinned to 2 seedlings per hill at 15 days. Fruits are harvested when they produce a dull sound upon tapping or the surface turns light yellow, around 120 days after sowing. With proper care including irrigation, nutrients, and pest management, watermelon can yield 25-30 tons per hectare.

Work with the seasons when maintaining plants. In fall and winter, focus on roots by repotting, transplanting, and dividing plants. Cut back on water and fertilizers high in nitrogen, and use soil amendments instead. In spring and summer, add more water and fertilizer for leafy growth, and prune before growth season. Houseplants do best being repotted in late fall and resting over winter. For monthly maintenance, fertilize plants from March to October, weed thoroughly once a month, and trim unruly growth. Check lawns for fertilizer needs monthly. Water deeply once weekly in spring, twice weekly in summer, and as needed in fall.
