Will it work for blends? Well, that depends on the fabric combination. In terms of poly/cotton blends, sublimation definitely will work. However, the result will be a faded or “retro” look, which can be advantageous in certain markets.

What types of materials suitable in sublimation process and are there any limitations?
As mention above, in sublimation printing you can print any sublimation blanks such as fabrics, polyester, jigsaw puzzle, hats and anything that have sublimate coating on it can be used in sublimation printing. Anyhow, there are still limitations in sublimation printings. This includes a natural fiber such as cotton. Sublimation printing is not suitable to be printed on 100% cotton because the image to fade and wash out.
Normally, sublimation inks are darker than normal inks. Due to that reason, you cannot print it onto dark colored material, but you can change it into pastel color or white to get the awesome image printed.
Please remember, the only product that has sublimation coated can be used in sublimation printing. It would never work if you use sublimation printings on normal mugs you purchase in the mall no matter how expensive it is. For your information, the most suitable heat suitable for sublimation process are from 180 to 400 degree Celsius.

The laser cutting head is a part of laser cutting machine that focuses the laser beam onto the material that wants to be cut. It's components include a reflecting mirror, focal lens, a nozzle and a gas or water jet.
The laser cutting head could be used in laser cutting machine to reflect and focus the expanded beam into a small spot. It can be used to cut various materials such as acrylic, paper, cloth and many others.
Starting with the daily maintenance, these works are useful as they help us to verify the progress of wearing of materials considered as consumables. First, we should check status of cutting head of the laser cutting machine, check status of nozzle, and replace it if necessary. Check if the lenses is dirty and, clean it or replace in case it´s necessary. At last, we should clean externally the cutting head of laser cutting machine. About the weekly tasks on the maintenance of cutting head, first, it should be checked, and replace it if necessary, the protection window at the bottom. Clean the external surface of the cutting head of laser cutting machine.
Check all gas connections, compressed air and water, where all must be connected and correctly adjusted. Check all connections of cable and secure that all cables are correctly connected. At last, check the correct connection of laser cable.As annually tasks, theoretically there should be replaced all optical components, and release all general checks of the laser cutting machine. As a practical rule, only in the case the efficiency of cutting has decreased, and therefore the operator consider it necessary, there will be mandatory to be replaced the optical components.
How About The Aftermarket Dye Inkjet Inks And Its Conversions ?
Note that most printers are built for a particular type of dye sublimation ink and you can’t easily swap them around. You can however, often use the same type of ink from a different after market supplier, usually because they offer cheaper bulk prices.
Dye sublimation printer manufacturers normally make most of their profits from ongoing ink sales, so they may try to discourage this by offering long-term lease contracts that include consumables, or by saying the warranty is void if you don’t use their inks. Some of the aftermarket ink suppliers get around this by offering insurance deals that cover some maintenance and repair claims.
In rare cases, a third party conversion between types will be offered, but only between closely related inks such as strong solvent to light solvent, or light solvent to solvent-UV hybrid.In most cases these will be conversions of new machines before delivery, but retrofits are sometimes possible. An example is the Colorific Lightbar conversion of light solvent Mimaki, Mutoh and Roland UV inkjets from light solvent to solvent-UV. In this case, older machines can be retrofitted on-site by flushing out, changing the feed lines and adding a new UV curing lamp system.

Sublimation is unique in that it involves sublimation inks that bond to the fabric fibers at a sub-surface level, rather than to the surface as most other apparel decoration inks do. In fact, the latter rely on a chemical additive called a binder to adhere to fabric. Sublimation relies on molecular bonding to attach and recolor the fabric’s fibers, resulting in an image that will not crack, peel or fade when washed. Therefore, sublimation is ideal for products such as team apparel, which undergoes a lot of physical stress and numerous washing in its lifetime.
Will it work for blends? Well, that depends on the fabric combination. In terms of poly/cotton blends, sublimation definitely will work. However, the result will be a faded or “retro” look, which can be advantageous in certain markets.

What impacts of sublimation ink quality
Sublimation transfer printing ink is the the key material of sublimation transfer technology, it is mainly composed of disperse dyes, binders, solvents and a small amount of additives. Dye is required to have good sublimation transfer, permeability and certain fastness.
Connecting material is required to have appropriate printability, preservation and thermal transfer adaptability, it should have small affinity with dye, and easy to release dye gases. Commonly used binders are low-viscosity ethyl cellulose, ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose, modified alkyd resin and others. Commonly used solvents are turpentine, terpineol, high boiling alcohol, cellosolve.
The most important feature of the sublimation transfer is dye can diffuse into the fabric fibers. Therefore, good quality dye sublimation ink has vivid color, strong stability and good transfer efficiency. Quality of sublimation inks affect the quality of the product directly, therefore, the choice of high-quality dye-sublimation ink is very important.

A guide to sublimation printing technology for sublimation
Sublimation process is where a the special sublimation ink has been heated up until in converting it into a gas, at this point where it diffuses onto the selected product and solidifies. The ink transfer using sublimation method will be permanently heat transferred to textile, mugs, puzzles, hats, metals, and other sublimation surfaces. Other than that, sublimation printing is also suitable on fabrics such as t-shirt, cushions, home decoration etc. and also to ceramic products for instance mugs.
What types of materials suitable in sublimation process and are there any limitations?
As mention above, in sublimation printing you can print any sublimation blanks such as fabrics, polyester, jigsaw puzzle, hats and anything that have sublimate coating on it can be used in sublimation printing. Anyhow, there are still limitations in sublimation printings. This includes a natural fiber such as cotton. Sublimation printing is not suitable to be printed on 100% cotton because the image to fade and wash out.
Normally, sublimation inks are darker than normal inks. Due to that reason, you cannot print it onto dark colored material, but you can change it into pastel color or white to get the awesome image printed.
Please remember, the only product that has sublimation coated can be used in sublimation printing. It would never work if you use sublimation printings on normal mugs you purchase in the mall no matter how expensive it is. For your information, the most suitable heat suitable for sublimation process are from 180 to 400 degree Celsius.

Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI support

As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.
