The document provides instructions for clearing the cache and browsing history in three popular web browsers: Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Firefox. For Chrome, the user clicks the three dots next to the URL bar, selects History, then clicks Clear Browsing Data and ensures Cached Images and Files is checked before clearing. For Internet Explorer, the user clicks the Tools icon, selects Internet Options, clicks Delete and ensures various options are checked before deleting. For Firefox, the user clicks the three lines next to the URL bar, selects History, clicks Clear Recent History, checks Cookies and Cache, and clicks Clear Now. After closing and reopening the browser, cached files should be cleared and updated webpages displayed.

1. Chrome Browser
Click on the 3 dots located on the right side of URL box  Dropdown box will appear
Click on History  Another box will appear and click on the History tab
This will open your History page  Click on Clear Browsing data  this will open up settings and Clear
Browsing data menu will pop up

2. Make sure that the Cached images and files is checked off  Click on Clear Browsing Data
Close Chrome Browser when you reopen it all your cache files should be cleared and you should be able
to go to updated webpages.

3. Internet Explorer Browser
Click on the “Tool” icon on the top right side of the window  a dropdown box will appear  Click on
Internet Options
The Internet Options box will pop up  Click on the Delete button and make sure the “Temporary
Internet Files…”, “Cookies and website data”, “History” and “Download History” are all checked off 
Click on the Delete button
Close Browser when you reopen it all your cache files should be cleared and you should be able to go to
updated webpages.

4. Firefox Browser
Click on the 3 lines located on the right side of URL box or search box  Click on History within the
dropdown box
The History box will pop up  Click on Clear Recent History

5. The Clear All History box will popup  make sure that Cookies and Cache is checked off  Click on Clear
Now
Close Browser when you reopen it all your cache files should be cleared and you should be able to go to
updated webpages.
