2. My story began a long time ago…

3. I lived in an orphanage when I was just a baby. My
only friend was Sister Mary Francis.

4. One day, at church bingo, Sister Mary Francis won
a vacation on a cruise ship.

5. She could take two guests with her. So she took
her best friend, Sister Mary Agatha and me.

6. We set sail. Sister Mary Francis took me for a walk
on the deck.

7. Suddenly, a big gust of wind came up and blew me
right out of Sister Mary Francis’s arms.

8. I fell overboard. Straight into the ocean.

9. Luckily, a pair of friendly killer whales happened
to be passing by.

10. They rescued me and took me to the surface, but
the ship was already long gone. The friendly killer
whales didn’t know what to do.

12. So we were off. We traveled for many days and
many miles.

13. Until we finally reached our destination...

14. The friendly killer whales found some penguins
hanging out near the water.

15. The penguins took me in and for the first time
ever, I had a family. I will tell you all about my life
with the penguins soon. Now I have to get on the
bus.

16. What are the other kids going to think of a girl
raised by penguins? I wish I could just go back to
Antarctica…
