Two friends got into an argument while walking in the forest, with one friend hitting the other. Later while bathing, the friend who was hit got stuck in the mud and began drowning, but was saved by the other friend. When asked why he wrote about the hit in the sand but carved the save in stone, he explained that hurts should be written in sand to be blown away by forgiveness, but good deeds carved in stone to never be forgotten.
