This SlideShare presentation will provide guidance on renewing checked-out resources from the Harris Learning Library serving Nipissing University and Canadore College. This example uses the Nipissing University OMNI Search Resources tool but it will work in the same way for the Canadore College version.

2. To renew your books online, go to Your Library
Select Search Resources or Library Search

Sign In option

4. A login screen
will appear.
Enter your login information (see next slide).

6. Use the Drop-
Down menu
under your
Name.
Select My Loans
Your Name
Your Name

7. Select the title(s) you wish to
renew if it’s an option.
Click on
Renew
Selected
Items.

8. If you want to renew all your books at once,
select Renew All.

9. Check to make sure that all items
were renewed successfully.
The new due date(s)
will be indicated.

10. If you see this message, the item is
due back by the original due date.

11. You cannot renew a book online if any of the
following apply
 The book is due or overdue.
 You have outstanding fines on any library materials
that are over $30.00.
 Someone else has requested the book.
 The item is a DVD or video
 The book is a Reserve or Short-Loan item.

12. Other Ways to Renew Your Books
 In Person
Bring your Canadore or Nipissing ID card, Community
Member card or photo ID to the Service Desk at either
Library, and we will renew your books for you.
 By Phone
Please call the Service Desk at
474-3450 ext. 4222

13. It is your responsibility to remember
when your Library materials are due.
Please be considerate to other patrons and return your
books on time.
