The Slide Blind is a replacement for traditional spectacle blinds that makes the blinding process easier. It requires the operator to simply loosen the studs outside the slide section, slide the blind in and out, and retighten the studs. Key features include that the blind does not need to be removed for blanking, it allows the blind to slide between open and closed positions, and gaskets can remain in place and be accessed by sliding out the blind. The Slide Blind is approved, patented, and available in standard sizes up to 24 inches.

The Slide Blind does not have to be
removed to complete the blanking process.
The Slide Blind enables a slide action to
change from the flow to the blind position.
The Slide Blind allows for gaskets to remain
in position and removal is not required,
however, if gaskets do need to be changed,
simply remove one more bolt and gaskets will
slide out with the blind.
The Slide Blind reduces fluid and gas
emissions during the blinding operation.
Blinding is made and easier to
operate in overhead installations and areas
of limited work space.
The Slide Blind is available in all
standard sizes.
