This document summarizes a project to develop and implement a hospital accreditation system in Bangladesh between 2012-2013. The objectives were to establish an accreditation committee, develop standards, implement the system, train surveyors, and pilot the standards in 2-3 hospitals. Achievements included launching the project, forming task forces and subcommittees to develop draft standards. The standards were divided into patient-focused and hospital-focused sections. A Gantt chart outlines the project timeline and activities. Key challenges included the time commitment of members and lack of awareness among healthcare policymakers of the benefits of accreditation.

8 Steps You Should Be Taking to Implement an EU-MDR Compliance ProgramGreenlight Guru
The new MDR will affect all Medical Device manufacturers.
The availability of the text for the new European Medical Device Regulation allows manufacturers to start the process of assessing the impact it will have on their activities, and what they will need to do to be compliant with the revised requirements.
The MDR will overhaul some of the basic principles under which manufacturers have been working under the current MDD.
Implementing the MDR requires a structured approach, since the transition to new MDR CE certificates can last several years.
