has just begun. the importance of a trailer is that they are considered to be
film advertisements which is normally released months before a certain film
will be released. Likewise, another important factor about a movie trailer
would be that they are made in order to make the public be aware of what
they should expect from the film and make them curious to see it.

There where many marketing techniques that can applied when the movie
sinister(2012) was released. From the movie trailer to poster, advertisements
on social media and on buses and also there where chances to win
merchandises as well;

This was the taken from the trailer of the movie
showing the title of the film. The first thing that grabs
the audiences attention is the people hanging in the
background upside down, giving it the sinister feel.
likewise the colour choices that where used was
contrasting the light and dark with also the misty
effect to it, highlighting the haunted and horror feel
to the audience
looking at the trailer, its clear to see the effectiveness of the sound used in
the background of trailer as its a key element in the scare factor.Through
the use of Dramatic sound effect the right time and the importance of
silence when something is about to jump out, all helps to establish the
perfect horror trailer as it captivates the audience to watch the movie if they
are interested in movies that make you jump. Likewise, through the fast
moving shots, it helps to give the best scary parts of the trailer without
revealing as much of the movie,
