County Sponsored Events: Thursday 20 th : Health screening, lunch and Marshall University tour before meeting host families at schools Saturday 22 nd : Guided tour of Heritage Farm Museum and picnic 9-12 a.m. Thursday 27 th : Pot-luck dinner and entertainment at Highlawn Baptist Church with their Chinese congregation Friday 28 th : Drive to the airport and say farewell!

4. County Event for TEACHERS: We invite our guest teachers to attend the Cabell County Strategic Planning Team’s dinner meeting on Monday March 24 th . This team is made up of school and community leaders who are planning for the future of our schools. Dinner and the meeting will be held from 5:30 - 8:00 at the Ramada Limited on 16 th street road. Teachers’ host may attend, too.

5. School Sponsored Events for Students Students attend three different schools: Students whose age is 12-14 will attend Enslow Middle School Students whose age is 15 will attend Cabell Midland High School Students whose age is 17-19 will attend Huntington High School

6. School Sponsored Events for Guest Students Host homes are linked to your school A guided tour of the school A schedule of daily classes Lunch in the school cafeteria Optional activities you may attend

7. School Sponsored Events for Guest Teachers Guest Teachers will stay with families who teach at Cabell Midland High School. Host families will transport guest teachers to and from CMHS every day. The county will provide transportation to other schools as needed.

School Sponsored Events for Guest Teachers Teachers will spend one day at five schools: Friday: Cabell Midland High Monday: Enslow Middle Tuesday: Huntington High Wednesday: Guyandotte Elementary Thursday: Cox Landing Elementary Schools will give building tours, provide lunch, and invite guests to share cultural lessons.

9. Host Family Events Host families will: Provide your breakfast, dinner, and lodging Arrange transportation to and from school Include guests in their family life including Easter Sunday traditions Locate internet access
