Comfort is becoming a main priority in the 21st century.
Home automation systems have attracted big interest with the
development of communication technology.
Through Internet of Things(IOT) we can do lot many things.
By creating an IOT protocol we can control our home appliances
using Google Assistant & Blynk application..
Node MCU is a microcontroller which comes with an inbuild
WiFi module through which we can control and operate.
5. INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this project
is to reduce the effort of the
people to control a device
manually.
The need for security
makes people look for
different ways to protect
their property.
6. In this project, Home automation usually
includes centralised control of lighting, air
conditioning, Electronic appliances, gates and
doors security lock.
IFTTT - If This Then That
IFTTT is an online platform where it acts as
communication bridge between Google
Assistant & Hardware Components.

12. METHODOLOGY
1. HOME SECURITY SYSTEM
Two modes od operation “Security ON” and “Security OFF”.
In Security OFF mode all the sensors are in sleep mode & in Security ON all
the sensors will be in activated mode.
If any emergency occur in the home, the sensors present inside the home
will detect the emergency and sends the data to the controller.
From the controller the emergency message will be triggered to the house
owner through Wi-Fi and it will be seen in the Blink Application.
If there is no internet connection, the message will be automatically triggered
to the owner from GSM module.
13. 2. HOME CONTROL SYSTEM
First the user should open the Google Assistant and should
give a command in that like “Turn LED ON” or “Turn on Fan”.
The user commands are triggered to the Blynk Application.
Then in Blynk the dashboard created and feed is activated
and turned ON and send to the Microcontroller (ESP 8266)
through Wi-Fi.
Finally, the Home appliances will be controlled.
