OBJECTIVE:
● The trainee will be able to use the
proper cleaning tools for cleaning
and submit a video/pictures of them
cleaning the area.
HOW TO
CLEAN
YOUR
BEDROOM
1. Declutter and Prep the Bedroom:
○ Remove any clutter from bedside tables, dressers, and desks.
○ Change your bedsheets, pillowcases, mattress protectors, blankets, duvet
covers, throw pillows, and linens. Place the used sheets in the laundry basket
for washing.
○ Consider decluttering your closet or wardrobes as well.
2. Remove Cobwebs and Clean Surfaces:
○ Start from the top and work your way down.
○ Remove cobwebs.
○ Dust tall furniture, headboards, light fixtures, light switches, and picture frames.
○ Clean mirrors (don’t forget the top part!).
○ Vacuum the mattress to remove dust mites and spot-treat any stains.
3. Clean Windows, Treatments, and Walls:
○ Remove removable curtains for dry cleaning or washing.
○ Thoroughly clean windows.
○ Wipe window ledges.
○ Use a mop or Swiffer to clean the walls.
○ Wipe down doors and door handles.
4. Deep Clean Floors:
○ Move furniture and clean behind them.
○ Vacuum or sweep the floor.
○ Mop or steam clean the floor.
TASK:
● The trainee will be cleaning the
bedroom area using the correct
cleaning tools and cleaning products.
● The trainee must submit the
document/video.
