4. Edward Scissorhands – Plot Vitals
• Edward was created by a mad scientist/doctor who’s
intention was to create something to raise reputation
and satisfy creative urge.
• Intention was for Edward to feel human emotions, this
was not achieved. Instead, he only experience negative
ones.
• Edward is led to behave violently due to human
misunderstanding. His intentions were not to be violent,
nut were driven there by lack of human empathy
• He was placed in an environment which he does not
know much about.
• Edward spent most of his first year in isolation.
• He is to be betrayed by a human after placing his trust
with them.
6. Hard Candy– Plot Vitals
• Hayley wears a red hoody jumper throughout
most of the film, especially in the beginning of
the story.
• The use of red is a pivotal in setting the tone of
the film This also included use of brown and
green, which resembles grass and mud (Earth).
• Jeff is older, bigger and unknown to the Hayley.
He tracks her and plays mind games with her.
• Hayley is trapped in a game of wit with Jeff, she
has to decide if she believes him or not.
• Film poster see Hayley standing in a bear trap,
with her red hood pulled over her head.
