3. Narrative (Horror Trailer)
Equilibrium begins with two innocent
teenagers who are home alone, decide to
explore the garden on a Friday night in. 3
girls dressed as dolls appear, unsettling
the atmosphere. The 3 twisted girls begin
to attack the couple, killing the prince. The
film end with a cliff hanger with the parents
returning.

Two-Step flow theory-
Producer and actors act as the opinion
leader, allowing the audience to be left to
trust them.
Hypodermic-Syringe theory-
Injecting the ideology of the horror genre
into the audience.

9. Dress Codes
• Creative make up for dollies, use of false eyelashes, fake stitches using glue, toilet role and a
cream face paint, black eyeliner to create stitches. Red lipstick to connate blood and evil. Black
contact lenses connotes cold and heartless, fear.
• Old fashioned dress codes, house wife impression.
10. Props
• Fake blood, used ketchup, but needed to be thicker to portray blood, adding flour was not the
best way to achieve this and the result didn't look like blood at all and therefore would not
connote gore and horror.
• Tinned tomatoes was the closest match, how ever the substance was still to watery but was as
realistic as we were going to get for it to suit the genre.
• Knife- used as a weapon
• Shovel- gave a twisted impression to the audience
