Brand and Content Strategist, Booz Allen Hamilton (September 2012 – Present)
‧‧ Develop compelling brand positioning and communication strategies for public and
private sector organizations; responsibilities include strategic direction, consumer
research, market analysis, project management and verbal identity development
‧‧ Support launch of marketing investment activities to create differentiated brand
and employee engagement strategies and insights, resulting in improved business
performance and development of new capability offerings
Serve as Lead brand strategist and researcher for Booz Allen’s Strategic Innovation Group
targeting $1.6bn in revenue
Served as Lead Writer for INNOVO, Booz Allen’s innovation magazine
During his time as lead writer, INNOVO was the recipient of several prestigious industry
awards, including the 2014 Hermes Creative Award, 2014 LACP Awards, and 2014 The
Communicator Awards
Served as Managing Editor for Cusp, Booz Allen’s platform for connections in the Civil
Commercial Group with a readership of 23,000
During his time as editor, Cusp won multiple awards for copy, design, and digital presence
including the 2015 Gold Hermes Award, and the 2015 Communicator Award
‧‧ Lead and execute high impact internal and external campaigns, recruitment efforts, and
awards; provide planning and coordination, marketing, and development of analysis to
highlight ROI and accomplishments of investment dollars to senior executive leadership
‧‧ Received industry awards for exceptional print products, including MarCom, Hermes,
and Communicator Awards
‧‧ Served as Communications Chair for GLOBE, Booz Allen’s LGBT organization, plan
communication strategies and events that increased membership by nearly 50%
‧‧ Managed compliance issues for our contracts with the IRS, an annual revenue stream
of $90 million. Monitored and maintained the clearances status of over 400 on-the-
ground employees
Contributing Arts and Culture Writer, Metro Weekly (April 2015-April 2016)
‧‧ Coordinate interviews for pieces to be published weekly that feature current events,
museum exhibitions, music, nightlife, and LGBT issues
‧‧ Work with editorial staff to plan out issue content on a weekly basis by attending
weekly staff meetings to pitch stories, and discuss issue plans
