Seth Lang moved to Mexico at age 18, where he learned Spanish and started his own import business. He lived in Mexico City for 10 years, immersed in the local culture, and owned multiple businesses, including a nightclub, printing business, and taco restaurant. Lang studied Mexican trade law and customs procedures at university. His main business was importing perfume, toys, blank CDs, and electronics from the U.S. and Asia to Mexico. In 2003, he returned to Canada and held jobs in distribution, fishing, and marine transportation before obtaining a business degree.
