• Around 6.8 million (two-thirds) illegal adult immigrants have lived in the
US for than a decade.

Newt Gingrich. He has Recently Proposed for unauthorized immigrants to
gain legal status if they have lived in the country for a long period of time,
have children in the U.S., pay taxes and belong to a church.
• The Pew analysis has found 35% have been in the U.S. for 15 years or
more; 28% for 10 to 14 years; 22% for 5 to 9 years; and 15% for less than
five years.
• The rising of illegal immigrants brings forth the reason for sharp steady
growth in the US population from late 1990s and early 2000’s. The U.S.
economy has sizzled and border patrol has become far more stringent.

• 4.7 million immigrants are parents of minor children.
• 38% of legal immigrant adults are parents of minor children.
• The age range of illegal immigrants range from 32 – 39 years of age.
• Illegal immigrants make up 28% of the country’s foreign born
population and 3.7% of the overall population in the US
• 39% of Illegal Hispanic adults who are not citizens say they attend
weekly religious services.
• 23% say they attend services at least once or twice a month.
• 19% attend services very rarely or never.

services on at least a weekly basis.
