In small groups (one group of four, the rest three), choose a time period of communication technology
development to research and present to the class. The following time periods can be used:
1. Pre-modern era (before 1600)
2. The Renaissance and Enlightenment (1600-1800)
3. The Industrial Revolution (1800-1880)
4. The Telegraph and the Telephone (1880-1920)
5. The Radio and the Television (1920-1960)
6. The Computer Age (1960-2000)
7. The Digital Age (2000-present)
8. The Future
Each group should research and prepare a poster or presentation about their assigned time period, including
major inventions, key players, and how communication technology impacted society during that time.
