Gravity is an attractive force between two objects that depends on their masses and the distance between them. It causes objects in space to come together to form planets, stars, galaxies and other celestial bodies. Gravity is what causes the Earth and other planets to orbit the Sun, and causes the Moon and artificial satellites to revolve around the Earth. While gravity exists between all objects, its force is only noticeably felt between very massive objects like planets and stars due to their large masses.
