Mr. Henton showed the class several websites that could help them with their media knowledge and guidance for an assigned task. He explained each site as they cover different aspects of music videos. The student will post logos of the sites and give a brief explanation of what each offers, including Bemuso which allows exploring the music business and industry, Promo News which provides daily music video updates, news and links to high quality videos, and BUG which gives exposure to inspiring new music videos from established and newcomer directors.

1. In our lesson, Mr Henton showed us a few websites which would could use to benefit
our media knowledge and to give us a bit of guidance and help in relation to the
task we were set. He took us through and explained each site because they cover
different aspects of music videos. I will be posting the logos of the sites and giving a
brief explanation as to what they offer.

2. Bemuso- This website is great because it gives you the option of being able to delve deep into what goes on in the music
business. It’s split up into two categories; music DIY and music ‘Biz’ you can choose which path you want to take in
because some people like to educate themselves as to how the industry works and some want to be a part of it
themselves.
