5. The disciples were struggling to believe Jesus
because it DEFIED how they felt.
It is for your good that I go for I will SEND Him.
Jesus is speaking to the disciples, but the Spirit is
not limited to the SUPERSTARS.
Many would choose a
PHYSICAL Jesus over an
INVISIBLE Holy Spirit…

6. The Holy Spirit ENABLES us to see ourselves for
who we truly are.
The Holy Spirit convicts us of guilt so that we
RECOGNIZE our need for Jesus.
We COVER UP our guilt with
self-righteousness, by
making excuses,
rationalizing…

7. Anyone can be RIGHTEOUS in their own eyes.
Through the Holy Spirit we realize that apart from
Jesus I am CONDEMNED.
We cover up the flaws…to
give the APPEARANCE of
something not really there.

Jesus wants more than BABES in Christ; He is
