Bus Indus Work In Amer History
There has been notable process that has been noted in the American history. This
development can be witnessed in business, industry and work. This has gone over to affect major
companies like the Carnegie Steel Company. This was a company that primarily produced steel.
It was created by Andrew Carnegie and several close associates to manage businesses at steel
mills in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area in the late 19th century. Andrew Carnegie was a
Scottish - American industrialist, and philanthropist, who was born on November 25th, 1835,
and passed away on August 11th, 1919 (Andrew, 2009). Throughout the next few decades, after
he founded his company, he created a steel empire. He continued maximizing profits and
minimizing inefficiencies through ownership of factories, raw materials, and transportation
infrastructure involved in steel making. Although the company was a great success, I am not here
to address that but to address those working in the Carnegie Steel Company.
Andrew Carnegie, the company owner, is one of the wealthiest people in this modern
age. The amount of money he has earned due to the effort of his work is not seen in the amount
of money they have gotten. He has opted to trim the wages for those professional staff which is
something that is not good and goes against the morals of the profession. For one who is required
to provide for his or her family it is hard to be in the company as a worker. He is never in the
mill but, I am sure he is aware of the bad work setting and what it is required to be in the
industry. The American economy during the time was not the best, and having to support your
family during this time was extremely challenging. Wages should not be trimmed, as this will
impact badly on the living conditions of the staff in effort to be their providers. Carnegie needs to
handle his employees with utmost respect and integrity.

The Amalgamated Association of Iron and Steel Workers has worked greatly to ensure
that the demands and needs of the workers has been heard and has gotten a contract. However,
the issue is that this contract is set to end this year and taking to fact that all the unions have been
terminated in the past (Carnegie Steel Company, 2021). I can just take to heart the fact that they
will look to work out something with all of you.
I have been informed by credible sources that the plant manager Henry Clay Frick, has
demanded that there be a rise in the production demand for every Carnegie. I find this to be quite
intriguing as it shows that pushing everybody to work in a hasty manner.
I would like to call upon all of you to be on the fore front and be heard as this is your
chance to be effective and ensure your rights are protected. You need to push the leadership to
act on what you need and demand for what is rightfully yours. Taking to fact that the work
setting, salaries and leadership are involved it is sufficient to go on strike as this will be reason
enough. There are so many things to settle on and consent in the contract, however in the past
this has not worked as should which is sad. You all need to be here unified and be on fore front
to show professionalism in the demands.
We are all aware that those working in the plant are members of this body and would be
of great benefit to them to meet these goals which are set for all. You need to be on your toes as
you will be assessed based on this. If the community is there to back your ambitions you will be
able to meet your goals (Adamczyk, 2021). It was not necessary to close down the industry as
the agreement was still active. It therefore needs some adjustments to ensure it aligns to what we
need. The methods used were not necessary and could impact badly on the traits. You need to
stand your ground and be heard do not go down any further that you have. This is just a short

time of suffering but for eventual success. You need to focus on what you need for your family
and yourself before opting to go on the negative path. I would not want to see anyone be hurt.
Carnegie is keen to ensure that the costs are reduced and that the wages reflect what the work is
done.
That 10-foot fence and the promotions for those who break the strike rules are not
reasonable As they are counter measures taken by the government. They are looking to control
the strike and you need to stand firm. Do not abide by their desires to making you stop fighting
for your rights. The revenue he gets is about $5 million, and he is not satisfied. He has the
opinion that the union is barring his wages, additionally he goes on to turn down any discussion
and has a strict stance on what he suggests to the Amalgamated men.
You need to work on something as one and back each other for your work and wages.
You need to talk with each other. A peaceful strike will work for everyone. Let us stop
destroying property and hurting people. We need to be aware that the government will be part of
everything if there is anything that is unlawful. We be to be keen on not winning or losing, but
staying for the fight.
