Campaign. Designed to position the hospital as a leader in women’s and
children’s health care, the campaign provides top quality services for
women and children living in the South Bay area.

Nearly 85 percent of all female inpatients at Providence seek care for
obstetrics. Consequently, the Women & Children’s Health Campaign will
raise funds for equipment such as wireless fetal heart monitors.
Providence is developing a resource center aimed at teaching pregnant
women and new mothers about lactation, breastfeeding, bonding, and
many more topics. The hospital also plays host to a Level III neonatal
intensive care unit, enabling it to treat any challenge a newborn might
