2. These are pictures of the design work of the sets that
were created before the filmed harry potter. The art
department on the film created mini versions of the
setting with white card to plan what it was all going to
look like. This is interesting because it shows how much
work they do on mise-en-scene and the settings before
filming. There were also many detailed sketches to plan
everything out.
These are also some pictures of the Hogwarts castle
which was built, this was interesting to see because it
was so detailed and obviously not as big as a real
castle but still quite big which they used for establishing
shots through out the film of the castle. It was made by
hand and shows how much work and how so detailed
the mise-en-scene of the film is.
Around the harry potter studios, each set was layed out.
It showed every prop that was used and even the
costumes that went which each character and setting.
