Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy
Marketing Objectives
 Sign one new artist within five months
 Reach 15k followers on Instagram and Twitter by 2022
 Increase brand awareness within military community by 100% by 2023
Marketing Tactics
The promotion strategy or marketing tools that will be utilized to inform and motivate
future clients, artists, investors, consumers and fans about our services and record label will be
through internet and social media campaigns. Military Music Group will run ads on all social
media website, get in touch with military newspapers and magazines, contact military support
organizations such as MWR and USO and sponsor events. The label will utilize both the push
and pull strategies. The push would be utilized more so to build a fan base and following for our
label and future artists. The pull strategy would be used more so to bring in the type of artists we
are trying to represent as well as future investors and sponsorships. The reasoning why is
because the label would have to prove itself to their following, clients, investors, and sponsors.
Military Music Group will pay for advertisements on social media platforms such as
Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok. The cost of advertising on these platforms depend on
several factors including but not limited to the season, the day of the way or time of day, target
location or demographic, etc.. The average cost-per-click on the former three range between
$0.38 and $5.26 (Gollin 2021). The cost of advertisement may range between $38 and $526 per
100 clicks.
To boost engagement, Military Music Group will host campaigns using the hashtag
#militarymusicgroup and two others supporting military or veteran artists. Campaign will be

promoted through all Military Music Group social media platforms and featured on the home
website. Merchandise would be available on the website’s shop page through Shopify and on
Instagram through the store feature. While Instagram is free to sell on, Shopify costs $29 per
month for the basic plan plus transaction fees. The main and advances plans would be
unnecessary, as the only features they offer extra are gift cards and additional staff accounts
exceeding two (Willett and Jeremy 2021).
Additionally, Military Music Group will reach out to military newspapers and magazines
such as Stars and Stripes, Army/ Air Force/ Marine Corps/ Navy/ Army Times, Soldier
Magazine, and Airmen Magazine for paid ads or to send out press releases for interviews, events,
general information, and more. The general average cost to have an advertisement inserted into a
publication is between $500 and $20,000.
Installing a billboard near military bases would be Military Music Group’s strategy for
guerilla marketing. For a more specific cost projection, the average cost of a large billboard in
Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida is $3,500 (Blue Line Media 2021). Other lucrative locations
for posters include the BX/ PX/ NEX/ MCX/ CGX retail stores located on respective military
bases.
Brochures will be made available in these locations as well as well as at sponsored USO
and MWR events and Military Music Group’s PR Podcast may be found on its website and on its
YouTube Channel.

Running Head: IMC 2 Integrated Marketing Communications Strategy Marketing Objectives  Sign one new artist within five months  Reach 15k followers on Instagram and Twitter by 2022  Increase brand awareness within military community by 100% by 2023 Marketing Tactics The promotion strategy or marketing tools that will be utilized to inform and motivate future clients, artists, investors, consumers and fans about our services and record label will be through internet and social media campaigns. Military Music Group will run ads on all social media website, get in touch with military newspapers and magazines, contact military support organizations such as MWR and USO and sponsor events. The label will utilize both the push and pull strategies. The push would be utilized more so to build a fan base and following for our label and future artists. The pull strategy would be used more so to bring in the type of artists we are trying to represent as well as future investors and sponsorships. The reasoning why is because the label would have to prove itself to their following, clients, investors, and sponsors. Military Music Group will pay for advertisements on social media platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok. The cost of advertising on these platforms depend on several factors including but not limited to the season, the day of the way or time of day, target location or demographic, etc.. The average cost-per-click on the former three range between $0.38 and $5.26 (Gollin 2021). The cost of advertisement may range between $38 and $526 per 100 clicks. To boost engagement, Military Music Group will host campaigns using the hashtag #militarymusicgroup and two others supporting military or veteran artists. Campaign will be

Merchandise would be available on the website’s shop page through Shopify and on Instagram through the store feature. While Instagram is free to sell on, Shopify costs $29 per month for the basic plan plus transaction fees. The main and advances plans would be unnecessary, as the only features they offer extra are gift cards and additional staff accounts exceeding two (Willett and Jeremy 2021). Additionally, Military Music Group will reach out to military newspapers and magazines such as Stars and Stripes, Army/ Air Force/ Marine Corps/ Navy/ Army Times, Soldier Magazine, and Airmen Magazine for paid ads or to send out press releases for interviews, events, general information, and more. The general average cost to have an advertisement inserted into a publication is between $500 and $20,000. Installing a billboard near military bases would be Military Music Group’s strategy for guerilla marketing. For a more specific cost projection, the average cost of a large billboard in Miami and Fort Lauderdale, Florida is $3,500 (Blue Line Media 2021). Other lucrative locations for posters include the BX/ PX/ NEX/ MCX/ CGX retail stores located on respective military bases. Brochures will be made available in these locations as well as well as at sponsored USO and MWR events and Military Music Group’s PR Podcast may be found on its website and on its YouTube Channel.
