12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar is a restaurant
located in the hear of Peekskill, NY. They’re
owned by a husband and wife team who
absolutely love their business. There bar includes
delicious contemporary food and a stage where
live music plays everynight. The vibe of the place
is Classy/Highend yet very friendly and
afordable. The mission of their website is to
show what the restaurant has to offer such as
events, menus, and wine lists. It also serves to
show people exactly where theyre located and
the reviews that critics have written.

OBJECTIVES

12 Grapes current website doesnt give off the
right vibe. It seems too bright and childlike to
be a classy wine bar. They are a high-end,
comfortable, jazzy, lively, and friendly place so
they need a site that portrays this. The new site
will convey this by using darker and richer
colors better imagery, and more organization.

The Hudson Room is another
high-end restaurant in
Peekskill, NY. As you can see
the site is much cleaner than 12
Grapes’ site. The organization
makes it look a lot nicer and
simpler to use. Theres a place
to make reservations and view
all the events and posts right
on the home page. There are
subtle pops of color that arent
too in-you-face and add to the
high-end yet friendly vibe.

Taco Dive Bar is another
restaurant in Peekskill. Not
quite the same vibe as 12
Grapes but there is definitely
an overlap in the user
demographic. This site
demonstrates instant
gratification because all of the
information you need is
readily available and easy to
find. This site also works really
well because it really screams
out the vibe of the restaurant.

website works because its
really simple and
camptivating. Hoever it
does need some work. The
words are really hard to
read and that font needs to
be reconsidered.

and modern. It really
reflects there menu’s
moderness. The hero image
is enticing and makes you
wants to eat some ramen. It
also has everything you
need right there to click on.

pretty. It works really well
but the contact us
section is a little weird.
There should be
something in between it
to balence things out a
bit more.

All of these websites work well because they reflect
their restaurant well. This needs to be
implemented in the design for 12 grapes. All of the
websites also have instant gratification. You can
make reservations, find exactly where they are, and
view there menus in as little to zero clicks. Some of
the sites need a little work. They typefaces were a
bit off and some stuggled with balence.

“I hosted our parents' 40th wedding anniversary at 12
Grapes on a Saturday evening. From beginning to
end,the staff, especially Henry, was professional and
courteous. Everyone at the dinner was extremely
pleased with the venue, service and food. Great place!
