3. Introduction:
Hello , I'm Tom Hall and I would like to tell you a little bit about me and what makes me tick . I hope this brief
introduction will give you a little better insight into my hopes, dreams, goals and aspirations.
I am married and have 3 sons and have lived in Fort Worth Texas for all of my adult life. I have many varied
interests from tinkering with motorcycles and old cars to gardening and cooking. I have worked for several years in
the IT support field, and in those years, have performed many functions, from desktop support and network
administration, to security, disaster recovery and storage management. I look at IT technology as some sort of magic
and I continually strive to become a master magician. The thing I love about IT is that are always something to learn
and new technologies to master. It is what helps keep me energized and motivated. In my quest to upgrade my skills
and knowledge. I recently earned my bachelor’s degree in applied technology at the University of North Texas and I
also earned an associates degree in Information Systems with emphasis in security, data storage management and
virtualization from Tarrant County College. I am always looking for the next challenge to conquer and the next task
to accomplish. I truly think I am just getting started on the next leg of my journey and can hardly wait!

I have several years’ experience in a variety of technical support roles from desktop support,
network administration, information security and disaster recovery. I have had to coordinate
support services with both outside vendors and direct the activities of other support
professionals. I had to maintain and track an inventory of repair supplies and equipment and
was responsible for the monitoring and upgrading and deployment of new computing
equipment and disposal of non-current units. I feel that any position requiring a person who
has not only technical expertise but organizational abilities and the ability to communicate
with individuals of differing knowledge and experience levels to ensure that the support
operations function at their optimum levels. My many years’ experience in a variety of
support roles coupled with my project management and interpersonal relationship skills
would suit me well for a support role that would provide added value at any level of an
organization.
