Halloween is celebrated on October 31st by English and American children. They carve scary faces into pumpkins and place candles inside to use as Jack o' Lanterns, which are meant to frighten ghosts and witches. On Halloween, children dress up in costumes and go door-to-door saying "Trick or treat," and homeowners typically give them candy. If children receive nothing, they may play a trick as retaliation.
