Halloween is one of the most widespread festivals in the United States that has become more popular in Russia in recent years. Celebrated on October 31st, Halloween is closely connected to traditions of the dead and involves people dressing up in costumes like witches, ghosts and skeletons for parties where they play games and tricks. Children enjoy Halloween by dressing up and going door-to-door asking for treats or playing tricks if not given candy.
