Vikram Ambalal Sarabhai (12 August 1919 – 30 December 1971) was an Indian physicist. He is considered to
be the father of the Indian space program. This student of physics got his doctoral degree in the guidance of
Bharat Ratna and Nobel Prize awarded C.V.Raman. Honoured with Padma Bhishan and Padma Vibhushan, he
had establishmed Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and was one of his greatest achievements.

The foundation of few eminent institutes, organizations and associations, attached to his achievements are:
Nehru Foundation for Development in Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad ((IIMA),
Physical Research Laboratory (PRL), Darpana Academy of Performing Arts, Faster Breeder Test Reactor (FBTR),
Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), Uranium Corporation of India Limited (UCIL) ,Blind Men
Association (BMA), Ahmedabad Textiles Industrial Research Association (ATIRA) and few more…
