St. Mark's Family Resource Center provides services like a food pantry and holiday gifts to needy families. They ask donors to remember the center during the holiday season by making a tax-deductible donation. Last year the center provided Thanksgiving meals to 500 families and Christmas gifts to 3500 children. Year End Holiday fundraiser 50/100 Campaign
As Thanksgiving and Christmas approach, we ask that you remember St. Mark’s Family
Resource Center in your holiday plans. While preparing for joyous holiday celebrations with
your friends and family, it’s important to stop and reflect on the joy and blessings in your own
life while also being aware that not everyone is so fortunate. While shopping for gifts and
gatherings with loved ones, please consider setting aside part of your budget to support the work
of St. Mark’s Family Resource Center with a tax-deductible charitable donation.
St. Mark’s provides a number of greatly needed services to needy families and individuals in
our communities, including our food pantry ministry. Last year we provided assistance to 500
families or more with turkeys and the trimmings at Thanksgiving and 3500 wrapped toys for
families with children at Christmas. These are families who wouldn’t have anywhere to turn for
help without St. Mark’s Family Resource Center.
St. Mark’s Family Resource Center is completely reliant on charitable donations in order to
be able to continue to provide these services. This is why we are asking you to remember St.
Mark’s Family Resource Center with a charitable gift in support of our important work during
the Holiday Season. We hope that you would participate in our 50/100 Campaign: 50 people
each sowing a seed of 100 dollars to help us complete the mission in Matthew 25. This gives us
a total of $5,000. This money would be used to make sure that whoever comes to or calls our
office will be assisted, regardless of their need. Our goal is to have at least $2,500 by November
the 30th
, 2015 and the other $2,500 by December the 31st
