Executive Summary   Less then 2 pages Simple to read Covers all the basic of the report If this is the only part some one read they should get the main ideas of the report
Company / NPO Intro 1 page or less Short background on company history  Must including legal/ethical battles relevant to your report Must include any relevant corperate commitments or value statments
Stake holders Identify relevant stake holders  Users  Users in need of accommodations  Users w/ privacy concerns Rights holder (patent, copyright, TM, Right of Publicity) Stock Holder Find the people who are least well off under the current policies       
Issues 2 to 3 in depth areas   Possible Issues include Privacy, Security, Copyright, DRM, ToS/EULA, Age, Disability/accessibility, Patents, Open Access, CC integration, or any other issues covered in class other issues not covered in class are also acceptable if approved in advance      
Issues Structure Relevance of Issues: what is the problem  Suggestions: recommendations for improving policies Reasoning - the pitch on why the company should change policies to your suggestion       
Images The report must include at least two visual aids.  These an be icons, graphs, info graphics or any other relevant images. 
Length Format 15 to 20 pages of text  Double spaced  Time New Roman or similar sized font 1 inch margins   Note: cites and Appendix do not count in length 
Cites End Cites APA, Chicago, Blue Book, or other if prearranged At least 12 sources
Online Cites Author’s Last Name, First Name. (Year, Month Day of Publication). Name of Article. Name of Publication. Retrieved on Date, from URL    Please include a additional URL to a permanent link if the URL is likely to change (internet archive copy / EFF archive of TOS or other archived source)    
Turn In Format 1 Digital copy in a printable PDF  1 Digital copy in original format  2 Printed copies   Digital copies are due March 3rd at 5pm Printed copy is due March 4th at the beginning of class Content in printed copies should be identical to digital copies.
