Empowering local business parks through collaborative&complementary-IT based strategies : companies in Schiedam lack information about products and services delivered by other companies situated in the same business park. They could make better use of each other's services and products. We are looking for a social platform for local entrepreneurs to: improve industrial cooperation, improve exchange of personnel and other services, reduce traffic/transport, promote energy efficiency, facilitate communication with the local administration and improve safety.

Choose the right ice-breaker for your group considering the size of the group, how well they already know each other, and what you are comfortable leading.
Ice breakers are a great way to start a training program. Most of the successful trainers, usually have some form of ‘ice breaking’ before hitting the main topic or theme of training. The fundamental rationale for an icebreaker is to ensure that the participants are more at ease and if possible are able to relate with one another.
Our society needs to change, our society needs Ice Breakers!Steven Zwerink
1. An icebreaker makes his way through the old and frozen system –> the system has to change and yes, we need to break it open!
2. An icebreaker leads his followers (friends, family, bosses and colleagues) safely through all these changes –> you can’t change things by yourself, you have to make sure you get and keep everybody on board!
3. An icebreaker breaks the tension and will make you feel at home –> Not everybody is breaking this system at the same pace and change needs to feel comfortable, that is (y)our responsibility!

Green Tec Cluster NRW - Services for Research & Innovation in GermanyJan Nicolai Hennemann
Clusters are regional and interregional networks in which companies, research facilities, political and non-profit institutions cooperate all along the value chain. The cluster policy of North Rhine-Westphalia's government aims to "strengthen strengths", supporting such partnerships in 16 different industries and technological fields.
The environmental technology cluster Umwelttechnologien.NRW works under the auspices of North Rhine-Westphalia's Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Agriculture, Nature Conservation and Consumer Protection (www.mkulnv.nrw.de). The cluster pursues the central goal of continuing to improve NRW's already prominent position in the GreenTech industry. It has set itself the following guiding objectives:
1. Improve competitiveness and create high-quality and innovative jobs
2. Sensitize the international market for environmental technologies from NRW
3.Promote integrated environmental protection as an alternative to after-care approaches
4. Build up the identity of environmental technology as an industry
5. Raise the state's profile in the industry

Transition on every aspect in every sector
Social & environmental entrepreneurs are the
first adopters
Earlier: selling a product or a service which face an
environmental need/issue
Now: improving the sustainable impact on the entire
business model
- design, delivery, accessibility, marketing, price policies,
externalities…

7. Food for thoughts
1. Early adopters should be economic facilitators to
entrepreneurship and medium & big compagnies
2. The pooling of existing tools and initiatives, not a
new tool
3. Develop a right way to find the right information
(selection by sectors, a personalized newsletter…)
