Grayson Highlands State Park will host several musical and festival events throughout 2010, including monthly concerts by Wayne Henderson and Friends from May through September. In June, the park will hold the annual Wayne C. Henderson Music Festival and Guitar Competition featuring local traditional musicians. In August, the park will host the third annual Grayson Highlands Dog Show, and in September it will hold the Fall Harvest Festival celebrating mountain culture with bluegrass music, barbecue, crafts and demonstrations of pioneer living.
