This rubric evaluates unit plan objectives and is worth a total of 40 points. It assesses the general information provided about the unit (6 points), the instructional objectives themselves (16 points), a reflection on the quality of the objectives (10 points), and a reflection on developing the objectives (8 points). Objectives will be scored higher if they clearly identify the topic, grade level, and content area; describe the topic briefly; state learning goals and relevant standards; and include all required components.
