A line is a
continuous mark made
on a surface by moving
from one point to
another.
Two Main Kinds
of
Lines
Straight Line
Straight line is
drawn in one direction
and does not bend.
Curved Line
Curved line is drawn in
different directions and
can be bent.

Straight Line
Horizontal Lines
Horizontal lines are
drawn from left to right
to left across a surface.
Vertical Lines
Vertical lines are drawn
from top to bottom.
Diagonal Lines
Diagonal lines are
drawn from left to right
or right to left in a
slanting position.

Curved Line
Concave Lines
Concave lines are lines
that are curved or rounded
inward like the inside of a
bowl.
Convex Lines
Convex lines are lines
that are curved or rounded
outward like the outside of
a ball.
Spiral Lines
Spiral lines are lines that
are winding or circling
around a center and seems
gradually moving away or
moving closer to it.
Wavy Lines
Wavy lines are slightly
curved lines alternately
going up and down, or from
right to left.
