2. SLIDE TWO
• One thing that Really makes me want to partake in politics and local
government is how people act when things don’t go their way. In this
great country we as Americas have the chance to vote once we
become of age in local, state wide, and country wide government
running's. This means that if any group can work together than one
idea can be pushed through the government and become successful.
But when some peoples ideas don’t work out they throw fits and
burn and break things, its childish. So I act every chance I get when I
have the opportunity to vote.
3. SLIDE THREE
• One thing I have learned that I though was kind of crazy was how
lobbing and lobbyist work. The idea that a political party will reach
out to a lobbyist and pay him to influence businesses to vote a certain
way is just kind of crazy to me. I mean we live in a capitalist society so
it makes sense. But learning about lobbing was the most interesting
thig so far.
4. SLIDE FOUR
• The one political issue I think is very important that really isn't much
of an issue is the presidential race and how it turned out. People in
America need to realize how important their vote is and how other
countries don’t get the same freedoms we have. People need to get
out and vote!
5. SLIDE FIVE
• Most important freedom we have is easily the freedom of speech.
Even though a few people don’t know how to use this right in the
correct way it is still in my eyes the most important. What would we
the people be without our voice.
6. FINAL
• This might sounds silly but the course just really refreshed my
memory on how our great government system works. Knowing simple
things like which branch of government does what and who is in
charge of what was nice to know.
