Google Glass is a wearable computer with an optical head-mounted display that allows users to access information in a hands-free format through voice commands. It was developed by Google X Lab as a smartphone-like device displayed on lenses rather than a screen. Google Glass overcomes limitations of smartphones by allowing users to access information while leaving their hands free and allowing them to remain aware of their surroundings.
