Sergey Brin is a Russian-American computer scientist who co-founded Google. He immigrated to the US at age 6 and earned degrees from the University of Maryland and Stanford University. At Stanford, he met Larry Page and they started building a search engine together in their dorm room. In 1998, they founded Google Inc. and grew it into a multinational company. Google's search engine helps users find information on the web by analyzing the links between pages. The company now offers many other services in addition to search and owns Android and Chrome OS.
