added content to those on the mailing list. This campaign will include three monthly e-
newsletters and three single-topic general interest emails.

o Top 5 Songs to Add to Your Studying Playlist
• [Copy]
o As the school year picks up the pace and the work loads start to get heavier and
heavier, you’re going to need all the studying tips you can get. Allow us to
provide you with a start. Listening to classical music has been proven to help
make students happier and more focused while studying, even if it is just playing
in the background. Easy enough, right? Here are five songs to get your studying
playlist started:
• [Subhead]
o 1. Piano Concerto No. 23 –Mozart
• [Copy]
o Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 is a light and bouncy piece with an upbeat
tempo. You are sure to feel as though you are running through the hills on a nice
summer day, rather than studying for that upcoming biology test.
• [Subhead]
o 2. Academic Festival Overture –Brahms
• [Copy]
o Academic Festival Overture is a shorter piece that embodies the feelings of stress
a student faces in a school day within the song. The changing speeds and
difference in dynamics will keep you awake while you read your textbooks at 2
am.
Kosak 3
©Kayla Kosak
• [Subhead]
o 3. Well-Tempered Clavier –Bach
• [Copy]
o Well-Tempered Clavier is nearly two hours of just piano played ridiculously fast.
Bach is known is writing some of the most extravagant pieces during the classical
music era (about 1750-1820) and this piece holds true to that. Turn this on and
you’ll have your whole paper written by the time it is done.
• [Subhead]
o 4. Canon in D –Pachelbel
• [Copy]
o Canon in D is a simple piece with a melody you have probably heard before. Its
simplicity allows it to be played many different ways, so if you’re feeling like you
want to hear it on the violin while you study, there is bound to be a video of it on
YouTube. Find one on loop for longer study sessions or listen to the original
length for a quick pick-me-up between classes.
• [Subhead]
o 5. Goldberg Variations -Bach
• [Copy]
o We had to end our list with another Bach piece. Goldberg Variations is a slower
piano piece that is just under an hour and a half long. This piece has more a
calming feel to it, but would still make good background music for your group
project prep.

o Happy Virgo Season!
• [Copy]
o Some of you might have read that headline and felt very confused. Don’t worry,
this is not some voodoo magic or anything like that. This is a look into astrology.
Astrology is just another fun way to view human personality based on the
celestial bodies and their position in the sky when someone was born. We will be
focusing on sun signs, which can be found based on the day you were born.
There are 12 signs, but this month we will look at one.
• [Subhead]
o Born August 23- September 22? Congrats, you are a Virgo!
• [Copy]
o Virgos are known as the detail-orientated and rule follower friend in the friend
group. As a strong Earth sign, Virgos are very steady and tend to lead very stable
lives. Virgos are also seen as one of the smarter and more kind signs, so they are
often giving out advice to others. Their spirit color is silver, and they love to plan
and organize things.

o You may have seen or heard about goat yoga from social media, but did you
know that it started as a nightly farm walk led by Lainey Morse, the creator of
Original Goat Yoga TM
. The goal of goat yoga is to use the healing powers of
nature and animals to improve the mental and physical health of anyone who
participates. What happens in a class? Well, its as simple as it seems; you do yoga
poses with goats surrounding you. Morse hopes that goat yoga will also improve
the economic development of rural households and family farms.

o The Evolution of Pumpkin Spice
• [Copy]
o The flavor of pumpkin spice has been hit these past few years, making it a fall
season staple, but where did this flavor come from? Well, according to
History.com, a key spice in pumpkin spice, nutmeg, has been around for 3,500
years. It was first found on the Banda Islands in Indonesia and started to get
traded into Europe around the 1300s. Nutmeg was so popular that the Dutch
traded current day New York to the British for control of the islands that nutmeg
grew on in the 1600s. In 2017, nearly half a billion dollars in pumpkin spice
flavored products were sold in the US.

Allow us to provide you with a start. Listening to classical music has been proven to help make students happier and more focused while studying, even if it is just playing in the background. Easy enough, right? Here are five songs to get your studying playlist started: • [Subhead] o 1. Piano Concerto No. 23 –Mozart • [Copy] o Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23 is a light and bouncy piece with an upbeat tempo. You are sure to feel as though you are running through the hills on a nice summer day, rather than studying for that upcoming biology test. • [Subhead] o 2. Academic Festival Overture –Brahms • [Copy] o Academic Festival Overture is a shorter piece that embodies the feelings of stress a student faces in a school day within the song. The changing speeds and difference in dynamics will keep you awake while you read your textbooks at 2 am.
  • 3. Kosak 3 ©Kayla Kosak • [Subhead] o 3. Well-Tempered Clavier –Bach • [Copy] o Well-Tempered Clavier is nearly two hours of just piano played ridiculously fast. Bach is known is writing some of the most extravagant pieces during the classical music era (about 1750-1820) and this piece holds true to that. Turn this on and you’ll have your whole paper written by the time it is done. • [Subhead] o 4. Canon in D –Pachelbel • [Copy] o Canon in D is a simple piece with a melody you have probably heard before. Its simplicity allows it to be played many different ways, so if you’re feeling like you want to hear it on the violin while you study, there is bound to be a video of it on YouTube. Find one on loop for longer study sessions or listen to the original length for a quick pick-me-up between classes. • [Subhead] o 5. Goldberg Variations -Bach • [Copy] o We had to end our list with another Bach piece. Goldberg Variations is a slower piano piece that is just under an hour and a half long. This piece has more a calming feel to it, but would still make good background music for your group project prep. • [CTA]
