God The Son
1) Jesus Christ is at the center of Christianity. He existed eternally as God but also became truly human through being born of the virgin Mary. 2) As fully God and fully human, Jesus lived a sinless life and perfectly revealed God's character through miracles and teachings. He died voluntarily on the cross to pay for humanity's sins and was resurrected. 3) Jesus now ministers as our priest in heaven and will return as king to fully deliver believers and restore creation. His dual nature and roles as prophet, priest and king are essential to Christianity's core beliefs about who Jesus is and his mission to reconcile humanity to God.
