This document provides two methods for goal setting. Method 1 involves filling out a sheet with your name, today's date, and dates one and ten years in the future. It then guides writing 5-7 goals in different categories and making copies to place in visible locations. Method 2 is best for children, students, or athletes. It involves writing current performance in the left column and goals for the end of the year in the right column. Suggestions for achieving the goals are written in a box below.

Fill in your name at the top of the sheet.
Fill in the date of today, the date in exactly 1
year and in exactly 10 years.
Take 30 – 45 minutes to find 5 – 7 goals, as
described in the blogarticle, for every category:
When finished make 3 copies, sign them an put
them in places where you see them multiple
times a day (e.g. over your desk, at work, fridge,
mirror …)

This method is best used for children, when still in school or for
athletics. With this method you isolate one area where you want
to better yourself.
As an example I will explain the method used for school grades
(all the examples are totally random).
In the left column you put your current grades for each subject.
In the right column you put your grades you want to achieve at
the end of the year.
In the box below you write down ideas how you can achieve your
goals.
