Windows Phone 7 introduced a new "Metro" interface that focused on the user experience. It utilized new hardware like multi-touch screens and sensors. The Windows Phone platform offered tools for developers like Silverlight and XNA to create apps and games. It provided a centralized Marketplace to distribute apps. However, the Windows Phone platform was still new in Ukraine with phones, the Marketplace, and developer accounts not yet fully available.
