Dear Hiring Manager:
I have known Robert Burns on both a professional and personal level for almost 10 years. Prior
to him coming on as an associate at Romanoff Renovations, he and I interacted on a daily basis
with his job at The Home Depot. Robert worked as the flooring expeditor, handling customer
issues, working with installation service providers, and training flooring associates on the ins and
outs of flooring installations. He handled himself in a professional and fair way while he worked
through issues. Because of his attention to detail, he was able to keep customers returning to the
store to purchase more goods and services.
While at Romanoff Renovations, held many different positions from Customer Service
Associate, to Executive Assistant, to Accounting associate. Again in his position with the
company, he was able to showcase his customer service skills with both internal and external
customers as well as his ability to organize large projects into manageable parts to ensure that he
met assigned deadline. Robert will make sure that he asks questions when there is uncertainty of
the directive to ensure he handles the job as needed by his boss. He never shied away from an
assignment because he did not know the job, but rather dove in with gusto to learn the skills
necessary to be a productive member of the team. He handles himself in a professional manner
when dealing with superiors. His determination and focus on tasks provided him with different
opportunities to expand his skills within the organization despite lack of formalized education in
a particular field (i.e. accounting associate). . Robert goes the extra mile to ensure the
completion of a project. He understands the importance of supporting others to reach the finish
line together.
On a personal front, Robert is extremely loyal. He is friendly and willing go out of his way to
help anyone. Robert is open and learns from his mistakes. He may get knocked down, but he
will always get back up and dust himself off to try again. He has a tenacity that is not often seen
in people today.
