and the growing demand for more ‘social’ forms of
communication have led GNIUS to develop a new
model for understanding and developing effective
communication strategies and programs.
Today, effective communication requires
a wider, more comprehensive approach
to planning and management, one that
considers and encompasses…
Not all situations will require the same emphasis on all three areas.
Indeed it is important to understand that one size does not fit all and what
works in one organisation may not work as well in another.
Nevertheless it is important that all three areas are given proper consideration in
any communications plan; new ‘social’ technologies will not succeed without the
appropriate working practices and no amount of creative design work will make
up for a communication platform that is hard to use and rarely visited.
