Setting the scene…..for visitors WHO ARE WE? WHAT HAVE WE DONE? WHY? HOW DID WE DO IT? WHAT HAS BEEN THE IMPACT?

Visitors must experience a                                     “Quality Task…”. Approx 120 mins of time (allow for movement between rooms, time for feedback and discussion of what they observed) Access to computers? WHAT will they do - must be something that they can walk away from and try in their classroom/school . Students teaching guests? RESOURCES - will you provide resources and how (hard copy, on the Ultranet?) HOW will people work - pairs, individually, small groups HOW will you cater to INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES? Plan B
Why do we need the participants to Action Plan for their next level of work? What will be the EXPECTATIONS of action after the session (reflection, practice, sharing)? The visit is not just about “look and see.” Visitors need to be made aware of their obligations back at their school-How will you inform them of this? Quality Task….reminder, we are expecting visitors to do what????

ICT access and structure of ICT in curriculum across the school, student numbers, expertise of staff and studentsFactor in time for visitors to meet and reflect on what they see. How will the visitors inform staff back at school? See planning template created by Ultranet coach which will be copied and handed back to visitors. This visit is not an opportunity to swan around, visitors are required to work and show evidence of how they will implement back at their school Take Aways: Additional resources you wish to create for visitors Thinking about the format and “to do tasks” for school visits

  • 9. Setting the scene…..for visitors WHO ARE WE? WHAT HAVE WE DONE? WHY? HOW DID WE DO IT? WHAT HAS BEEN THE IMPACT?
  • 13. Visitors must experience a “Quality Task…”. Approx 120 mins of time (allow for movement between rooms, time for feedback and discussion of what they observed) Access to computers? WHAT will they do - must be something that they can walk away from and try in their classroom/school . Students teaching guests? RESOURCES - will you provide resources and how (hard copy, on the Ultranet?) HOW will people work - pairs, individually, small groups HOW will you cater to INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES? Plan B
  • 14. Why do we need the participants to Action Plan for their next level of work? What will be the EXPECTATIONS of action after the session (reflection, practice, sharing)? The visit is not just about “look and see.” Visitors need to be made aware of their obligations back at their school-How will you inform them of this? Quality Task….reminder, we are expecting visitors to do what????
